Good food, but spendy. Be prepared for spending about twice what pizza usually costs. 40 seems a lot for pizza for three... Especially with no booze on the ticket. Still, will likely return.

Ordered 4 lbs of wings tonight. I thought they were un-sauced, so I called back to complain. They were kind enough to deliver another 4 lbs. The sad thing is, it turns out, their wings just really are that bad. I owe HoP an apology. Thank you for trying. But seriously; there are other places out there that offer chicken wings. Go try theirs. THAT'S what yours are supposed to taste like.

Locals must be loyal or people who are giving this place 4 and 5 stars have never eaten good pizza before and don't know what toppings cost... I'm sorry, but after ordering a large (14") House Deluxe pizza and getting the bill I was shocked... $28.20 for a single 14" pizza folks!!! 1 pizza! Nothing else. Is the pork from a Wagyu pig? Are the veggies imported from a hydroponic farm on Mars? Is the cheese shipped over from Italy? Is the crust from 100 year old yeast? What did I miss here?? Bottom line, WAY overpriced, the pizza was nothing special, and they also cut it in the square pattern that makes the entire center a soggy mess to try and eat with no crust. There is a reason they don't put prices on the menu I guess! Look elsewhere for pizza!

Pretty bland, and overpriced for what you get. We tried this because of all of the great reviews, and were pretty disappointed. Very average pizza. The toppings taste cheap. The locals must not have had great pizza before to rate this so high.. Tanya L

We ordered pizza as a delivery as well as onion rings and cheese bread. The pizza was ok and the cheese bread was great, but we got 5 onion rings in our order for $6.99. This does not constitute as a basket of onion rings! When I called back they said that the order is generally 5-6 onion rings, do NOT recommend ordering onion rings from here!!!

Great pizzas! The best place to go for pizza in St. Cloud. Good local craft beer selection on tap.

A nice meal while passing through town. Good, classic pizza and square cut- my favorite!

Love this place! Lots of cheese on the pizza and their crust is thinner. Very nice staff and great drink selections.

I love the pizza here, lots of different selections! And you can't beat unlimited $5 pizza every Wednesday!

Ok here's the thing. If you're going to charge an arm and a leg for pizza the least they can do is use fresh ( not canned ) mushrooms. Boggles my mind. So without the mushrooms the pizza is good but not worth the money. Toppings always side off with the cheese too . My husband raves about it but I honestly prefer other places ESP because of the outrageous price. Maybe if they stopped using canned ( and yes it's very obvious ) and lowered the prices a bit, they would get all 5 stars.

They have really really good pizza but it's a bit on the spendy side! If it was cheaper I would come here much more!

Again this is some place I travel 1500 miles for, I have been eating house since I was a teen I won't say how long that is but we'll just say awhile. ;) I love, love, love this pizza. It is a thin crust with the perfect amount of the slight burnt on the underside. Loaded with the toppings of your choice. My choice and the only time I make this particular choice is here. Is Pepperoni, Italian sausage and Green Olives. Yes, Green Olives the only time I get them is here. The cheese is LOADED on top no skimping here there is so much cheese that the only way you know your toppings are on there is the little bumps all over the pizza! My mouth is watering as I sit here and describe my amazing Pizza! Oh House my love of you will live on, I will see you again when I next visit...

Way too expensive for the pizza. I get Gourmet pizza from N.B's in Clearwater for half the price. For a family of 4 it was over $50. I've never paid that much before for pizza. Plus 2 of us drank water. My husband said we won't ever go back.

Great pizza! Some of the best in town! Good pasta and other stuff too. I've eaten here a lot. But, I must say I really miss your happy hour special that was buy a drink get a free slice of pizza... :( Makes me sad!!!

The best part of my visit was sitting at a table overlooking the street. The pizza did in fact have canned mushrooms on it, but it was pretty good in spite of that. It showed signs of being actually made by a person and had decent taste. I assumed that they'd have beer, but apparently that's only in the downstairs room, which opens later in the day. What kind of monsters don't serve beer in a pizza place? Oh well, the water was good. I see there is a Green Mill nearby. Just to calibrate things for people that have been to Green Mill, you can expect the cost at House of Pizza to be half of Green Mill and the quality to be far superior (which is too bad--I ate at Green Mill back when there was just one location and it was great). I'd say this is a fine place to go with the kids. I didn't try the much-raved-about garlic bread, so I can't report on that. The people that say this is the best pizza they've ever had should take a drive to Cossetta's in St. Paul.

Disappointed. Appetizer, Boneless Wings, were basically McDonald's chicken McNuggets only overcooked. Pizza ,"meat at home", was flavorful but crust mushy and overpriced for what I've experienced in my travels. Wait staff were excellent, very responsive and pleasant. However, because of the quality of the food, I won't be back.

This is by far the best pizza you will find in the St. Cloud area! My favorite is the sausage pizza and italian pizza strips. They have great Happy Hour specials. I have yet to have a complaint about the food and/or service :)

House of Pizza Home Inspection: *Basement (Crust)- The crust is thin and crispy crust is unlike most thin crusts you have tried as it is not dry, still as some chew, and adds to the taste. *Interior (Sauce)- Sweet, tangy, thick, and just the right amount. The white sauce is also awesome! *Roof (Cheese)- Fresh good quality cheese that is piled on thick perfectly melted. *Landscaping (Toppings)- Not skimpy on the amount or variety of toppings, if you are overwhelmed try one of their specialties as you can't go wrong. *Asking Price (Value)- It's true that you are going to have to shell out a little extra cash to get a pizza here compared to Domino's or Pizza Hut but you will not regret it. Without question, the House of Pizza serves the best pizza in Central Minnesota. TIP: Try the whole wheat crust, it adds a little bit of nutrition and a whole lot of flavor!

Yum. House deluxe in thin crust. Perfect

Great beer and excellent pizza - need I say more? Personal fave was the wheat crust (thin, crispy like a wheat saltine) and classic Hawaiian toppings adding some extra spice for me (typically jalapenos). Kids enjoyed the food, but me thinks this would be a better hang out for late night.

Great place to catch the game with great craft beers on tap, good food and drink specials during the game and happy hours. Who can beat $3 1topping flatbread pizzas? Friendly staff, they make the effort and remember you if you come back again. Nice chill atmosphere downstairs in the bar and perfect for family dining upstairs.

Yum! I've been eating at this place since I was a little kid and it's survived as my favorite to the present day. This place's "original" crust would qualify as a thin crust to most people, which is just how I like it. The House of Pizza has a truly unique flavor which I have not come across since moving out of St. Cloud. You'll find the toppings hidden underneath the cheese, so don't worry if you can't see the pepperonis on your pepperoni pizza. Just try not to overindulge in the delicious rectangles and squares they cut this pizza into! The restaurant downtown has a lot of fond memories for me, but since the remodel it looks pretty generic, but is definitely comfortable and pleasant.

I agree with DK of San Fran about this place. It is OK pizza that is WAY overpriced for what you get and is really not all that good. Every pizza I have had from there has been WAY too over salted and unevenly cooked on the crust. Sometimes it is OK and others... not so much. Easily the most overrated place in town. I got dragged back here by some folks who love this place. And again it was over salted, blah crust, and canned toppings. And the service and pie was glacially slow in showing up at the table. What the hell is wrong with the people who love this place? If you are setting your bar at dominos and thing anything above that is good, you are wrong. Want a good pie, try Jules Bistro.

Went for the first time yesterday, very good service, clean, pleasant, and really pleased with the pizzas we got. Got a big, free soda refill, and the time spent waiting for our food was very reasonable. Will go again next time we're in Saint Cloud for sure.

My mouth is watering just thinking about House of Pizza. I loved getting pizza and more importantly, garlic cheese bread (o.m.g.) from this place for years and then I started working there as a delivery driver. Let me tell you, it took everything I had not to binge every single day on their delicious food. The garlic cheese bread is hand made every morning, and could very possibly make me do bad things to people, for it. Not only is the pizza good, but they also have a wide variety of salads, pastas, and other things. I've tried a little bit of everything and never got a bad meal here. Now, it's not cheap. A large pizza will run you close to $25 (for one topping), but it's well worth it. Quality ingredients, excellent crust, not too much sauce (but not skimpy on the sauce either!), very cheesy, and best of all.. cooked in a giant rotating stone oven. I haven't worked here for over four years, and I don't even live in Minnesota anymore but everytime I go back to visit, this is first on my list of places to go.

actually not bad - everyone in town raved about it. family members at the wedding I was attending were jealous that we snagged a pie from here before the skies opened up. it's a heart attack on a pie. but you will die with a smile.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
